Job Title: Contract CAE Engineer

SA Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Contract CAE Engineer to support the improvement of structural robustness of products/projects through explicit LS-Dyna simulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural simulations, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports with design solutions.
  • Convert physical/field problems into simulation problems (BC definition) independently.
  • Pro-actively document and share knowledge.
  • Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of LS Dyna, explicit and implicit analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of component/subsystem/system level simulations using LS-Dyna.
  • Expertise in 2D and 3D meshing of sheet metals and plastics using Altair-Hypermesh.
  • FEM and analysis using LS Dyna and LS Prepost.
  • Hands-on experience with explicit analysis projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with material model selection.
  • Knowledge of FEM theory and numerical methods.
  • Ability to provide logical and feasible design suggestions based on FEA analysis.
  • Experience in selecting element type, mesh size, material properties, and element quality check.
Education:

M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.

Experience:

1 to 3 years of experience in the automotive/aerospace/home appliance industry-related contract companies.
