Electrical Design Professionals with a strong background in power systems and UPS industries are required to lead project planning from conceptual design to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design product solutions based on customer requirements for DC SMPS based Power Systems, UPS Panels, Distribution Panels.
  • Provide technical support to internal & external customers.
  • Awareness of safety standards like IEC 60204-1 & IEC 61439-1-2 is necessary.
  • Technical requirement analysis of project goals.
  • Preparing BOM, GA Drawings, Electrical drawings.
  • Review of Engineering Drawings & Design Calculations in line with Tech Specifications & relevant Engineering standards.
  • Optimizing the BOM cost by suggesting various ways.
  • Quality Engineering Documentation implementation to ensure accuracy.
  • Project execution for process improvements and new products as per Quality Management System requirements.
  • Proactive engineering support to production and Quality teams
  • Customer interface to understand their needs.
  • NPI (New Product Introduction) & Prototyping.
  • Prototype validation and characterization.
  • Project schedule/ Project MIS reporting for desired dates.
  • Streamlining day-to-day Execution processes to maintain quality adherence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • DC SMPS based Power Systems designing for telecom and Industrial requirements.
  • Electro-mechanical designing experience of Electrical Panels / UPS Panels- ACDB/DCDB/ MCC/ PCC.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD for SLD & Wiring Diagrams.
  • Electrical Switchgear/ Cables & Bus-Bar sizing/Mechanical designing/Wire Harness/Product Quality & Safety norms/ Testing of Panels.
  • Mechanical & Electrical codes & Standards knowledge.
  • Project Management Skills.
