Cloud Systems Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure cloud services, Office 365 administration, and related Microsoft tools. They should also have a strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services. They will also implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity management solutions, monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs, and administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Azure Cloud Management: Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services.
  • Office 365 Administration: Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services, Office 365 administration, and related Microsoft tools.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for cloud automation.
