Job Description:
  • Support the manufacturing department in conducting research on economic issues, collecting and analyzing data. Present findings through reports, charts, and tables. Interpret market trends, advise businesses, governments, and individuals on economic matters.
  • Conduct surveys to gather information on the economy, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to economic problems.
  • Develop and implement research agendas, including at least one detailed report within a year.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, universities, think tanks, and other organizations on research projects, aiming for at least one co-authored report or publication.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and ensure research agendas are achieved, producing at least one detailed report annually.
  2. Engage with stakeholders, such as ministries, universities, and think tanks, to identify research topics.
  3. Prepare discussion points and talking points for meetings and forums, providing relevant content for effective delivery.
  4. Make presentations at various fora and deliver crisp presentations during committee, council, and government meetings.
  5. Interpret stakeholder concerns and recommend solutions to address these issues.
Qualifications and Key Skills/Attributes Required:
  • Postgraduate degree in Economics from a reputable institution (India or abroad).
  • Thought leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent domain knowledge and understanding.
