Investment Research Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual to assist our team in Alappuzha with equity research and financial analysis. This internship provides hands-on experience, working closely with our analysts to support stock analysis and investment decisions.

This role offers the chance to perform fundamental analysis of companies to assess their potential for investment by evaluating financial statements and market trends. The selected candidate will also develop and maintain financial models to project company performance and valuations using advanced Excel techniques.

Key responsibilities include analyzing stocks, monitoring market trends, and providing insights for investment strategies, utilizing strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are required to write concise research reports, create presentations, and summarize findings for internal use.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing CFA Level I/II/III or holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparables), applying theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
  • Knowledge of fundamental analysis and ability to interpret financial statements, identifying key metrics and trends.
  • Ability to analyze stocks, draft research reports, and prepare professional presentations, leveraging technical and business acumen.
  • Strong documentation skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in written materials.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with MS PowerPoint and Word, utilizing software efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets and investment concepts, applying theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
