Job Title:

Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the consolidation of financial data from multiple business units/entities and manage the reporting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Data Consolidation: Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities for General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Inter Company Reconciliations: Perform inter company reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions.
  • Chart of Accounts Consistency: Manage and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
  • Statutory Audit Support: Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
  • MIS Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary.
  • Business Insights: Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with FPA team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles and identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA) with minimum 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
