Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Blue Yonder India Private Limited. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, implementing, and operating our Machine Learning platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the Machine Learning platform, developing and gaining insight into the application architecture.
  • Distill abstract architecture into concrete design and influence the implementation.
  • Observe inefficiencies in existing processes and research alternative solutions using custom or existing open source technologies.
  • Design replacement processes and components, and implement them.
  • Work with the ML DevOps and Support teams to operate the ML platform, implementing DevOps best practices and ensuring smooth operation via monitoring and alerting facilities.
  • Collaborate with ML data scientists to apply software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable systems for both model building and serving.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, with a master's preferred.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience building production software.
  • Experience in Frontend technologies, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Good working knowledge of Kubernetes and other virtualized execution technologies.
  • 1+ years of experience working on at least one cloud environment, GCP preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Python programming experience with an excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience in building REST APIs.
  • 1+ Working Experience on Kafka and its integration with Cloud Services.
  • 3+ years of Linux scripting experience.
  • 1+ years working with traditional and new relational SQL DBMS; Hive and Big Query preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with NOSQL databases; Cassandra, HBase, Redis.
  • Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
  • Exposure to one or more of Pandas, NumPy, sklearn, Keras, TensorFlow, Jupyter, Matplotlib, etc.
