About Rockman Advanced Composites
Rockman Advanced Composites is a composite division of Rockman Industries Ltd, India's leading Auto components manufacturing company and part of multi-billion-dollar Hero Group.
We are an Indo-British enterprise, with over 5 decades of advanced composites solutions, design and manufacturing expertise of our two British Co-founders. Our purpose-built facility is located in Special Economic Zone, Surat, India.
We offer a seamless one-stop service for the detailed design, material choice, laminate design, pattern, mould, and jig design and production. We are familiar with all types of fibers, resins, and sandwich constructions. We have extensive technical experience in the Advanced Composites field with Build to Design capability, in addition, to build to print.
Our clientele includes multiple industries and marquee clients across Automotive, High-End Motorcycles, Motorsports, bicycles, sporting goods, and aerospace since the last 10+ years of our existence. We export over 99% of our output to customers in the UK, USA & the EU.
We have further strengthened our presence in UK & Europe in 2018 via a strategic acquisition in MCT Engineering Ltd. (UK) which serves marquee automotive and motorsports customers.

The Role
You will be responsible for driving business growth by formulating an effective sales & marketing strategy and undertaking business development to help meet Company's growth objectives. This includes nurturing and managing key accounts and alliances in coordination with the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Surveying markets for emerging trends, competitor information, market share and manufacturing capabilities and identifying new geographies/markets/product segments to enter into to drive business growth.
- Developing BD strategy for different segments- Automotive, Aerospace, EV etc in collaboration with the BD/Technical- Directors to drive growth.
- Preparing, consolidating and driving Monthly and Annual Sales Targets based on Annual Operating Plan.
- Driving the composite components sales (with end to end responsibility from lead generation, RFQ, quotation, sales order, delivery) to increase revenue for the Company.
- Ensuring timely customer collections.
Customer Focus
Your responsibilities will include contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, making presentations to prospective customers, researching organizations to find new opportunities, finding and developing new markets and maintaining database of the potential clients, contact details and details of ongoing discussion.
Process Expertise
You will be organizing weekly/monthly reviews with Directors to review Sales Pipeline, Sales Performance. You will participate and lead periodic project reviews with the plant team for adherence to new project timelines. You will lead customer communications to drive QCD along with the Plant team.
Learning & Development
You will drive company core values within the organization. You will nominate subordinates actively for people development initiatives like training, workshops across the organization.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- BE/BTech, MBA in Marketing
- Sales Planning and Strategy
- Knowledge of Marketing Concepts
- Ability to identify opportunities & lead generation
- RFQ management and costing of products
- Competitive Analysis
- Digital Marketing, exhibitions etc
- Manufacturing Industry (Composite industry preferred)
Additional Requirements
The ideal candidate should also have:
- Exposure to composite industry would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English language
- Negotiation Skills
- Project Management Skills
- CRM
Estimated Salary Range: ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum
