Machine Learning Product Manager

This role involves leading a team to develop and deploy machine learning models for payment transaction routing. The ideal candidate will have experience in data products and leading ML teams, with a strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of ML models for payment transaction routing
  • A/B test model against rule-based routing for different target segments
  • Own metrics like TE savings for merchants and Braintree, and Approval Rate for the debit product portfolio
  • Partner with engineering and analytics for training, testing, and validation of models

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with experience from payments background
  • Complete understanding of machine learning concepts, machine learning models, and algorithms
  • Excellent quantitative skills, along with strong analytical skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with supervised learning, unsupervised learning, federated learning, active learning, reinforcement learning, transfer learning, multi-task learning, and meta-learning
  • Good understanding of various mathematical and statistical concepts such as regression and data science
