Speech Therapist Job Description



The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of speech and language disorders, with experience in providing audiometric evaluations, implementing Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), and counseling clients on cochlear implant mapping and management.



We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and medical providers as needed.



Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children and adults
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of communication disorders
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and support
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and adults with communication disorders
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) is highly preferred
