Job Title: Assistant Director Intern

We are producing a high-impact documentary film highlighting India's advancements in space science and technology. The project explores the nation's advancements, requiring strong narrative craft and creative execution.

Role Overview:

As a key team member, you will assist the Director directly, contribute to script development, research, and creative coordination across the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Develop English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Film school student / recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
