About the RoleThis Senior Analyst Category Management role will support a business fueled by data and business analytics. The ideal candidate will drive merchandising and marketing strategies to achieve GMV & profit goals, grow market share, and enhance guest satisfaction for their category.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze the business category using data and analytics to support assortment strategy through market research and benchmarking against key marketplace/sellers.
- Support monthly business goal planning and forecasting, manage category insights for expansion, and curated assortment experience.
- Deliver seamless guest experience and value through competitive promotion planning & ensure we are competitively priced.
- Collaborate locally and globally across teams and Work closely with Product, Technology, Merchandising, Item, and Operations to ensure a seamless category experience, incorporating product automations, key item strategy, and enhancing overall performance.
- Manage vendor relationships for Category/Essential Tiers, ensuring alignment with business objectives through strategic planning and forecasting.
- Provide analytical support for strategic and Preferred tier partners.
- Enable & oversee Business & Partner Reporting data development for accurate & seamless on TAT SLAs & Monitor and drive operational KPI's at the BU level.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in merchandising, forecasting, and data-fueled product selection. A degree in B.S. or B.A. and 6+ years of experience in an ecommerce business or business analytics role is required.
A proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and communicate effectively is essential.
Requirements- Three/Four-year degree, B.S. or B.A.
- 6+ years of experience in merchandising function, forecasting, and data fueled product selection
- 4+ years managing an ecommerce business, business analytics with specific experience related to marketing and site experience and optimization preferred
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
