Senior Data Science Position

The role of the Senior Data Scientist is to provide advanced data analysis and programming support to various projects, clients, and therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract valuable insights from large databases and generate reports using SAS and SQL programming skills.
  • Implement complex logic and create complex datasets derived from various data sources with attention to outliers and errors.
  • Build patient cohorts and evaluate patient healthcare events in large databases using observational research methods such as epidemiology and statistical methods.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficient in R and SQL programming languages.
  • Expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron and COTA.
  • Good understanding of Oncology-specific analyses such as Line of Therapy algorithms and Survival analysis.
  • Experience with Analytic Datasets, patient cohorts, and R Shiny or Instant Health Data (IHD).
General Requirements
  • Lead internal and client study team meetings effectively.
  • Presentation of study updates internally and at client meetings.
  • Share scientific, technical, and practical knowledge within the team and with colleagues.
  • Perform work in full compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, company policies, procedures, and training.
