Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled database administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL Server upgrades, Always On Availability Groups, and cloud migrations.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute SQL Server upgrade projects.
  • Design, configure, and manage Always On Availability Groups in production environments.
  • Plan and implement database migrations to AWS with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance.
  • Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience upgrading SQL Server to 2022 in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and other HA/DR solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS database migration.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools for database administration is a plus.
