Lead Content Specialist

We are seeking a Lead Content Specialist to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in education, student affairs, and youth trends.

  • Curate and develop engaging content focused on education, careers, innovations, student initiatives, and campus life.
  • Edit and proofread articles for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.
  • Collaborate with senior management on content strategy and editorial planning.

This role requires strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar and the ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.

A Master's degree in Journalism or Mass Communication, and 8-12 years of experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on education, youth, or career-related content, are required.

Familiarity with digital publishing tools is an added advantage, as well as prior experience in education journalism or content creation for student-centric platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of writers and interns, ensuring quality and consistency across all content.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to plan and structure content for various channels.
  • Ensure all content aligns with established editorial guidelines and tone.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content for various platforms.
