Job Opportunity: API Developer Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced API developer to join our team as a specialist in API development and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on designing, developing, and executing automated functional and performance tests for RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Automated Tests: Create and maintain automated test scripts and cases to validate API functionality and performance.
  • Integrate Testing into CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Analyze Logs and Debug Issues: Use tools like ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to monitor and analyze logs for debugging and validation purposes.
  • Contribute to QA Strategy and Test Coverage: Participate in root cause analysis and test plan reviews to improve overall QA strategy and test coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on API development and testing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments like OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools like Postman and JMeter.
  • Experience with Kafka-based workflows and messaging systems.
