Job Overview

As a seasoned API Gateway Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem).
  • Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments.
  • Manage APIGEE runtime components including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with APIGEE Hybrid platform deployment and runtime management.
  • Familiarity with APIGEE X and API management concepts (OAuth, JWT, API keys, SSL/TLS).
  • Experience with API proxy development, debugging, and policy implementation.
Desirable Skills
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem).
  • Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm charts.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service mesh is a plus.
