Job Title: Site Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Land Sourcing and Acquisition: Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects across Maharashtra, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end process of scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover of land parcels.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments to ensure smooth land acquisition.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct title verification and legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams to avoid potential risks.
  • Right of Way Acquisition: Oversee mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies for a seamless experience.
  • Document Management: Ensure clear documentation of agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps to prevent disputes.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Team Supervision: Manage a team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants to ensure efficient land acquisition.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and address legal or community-related land acquisition issues promptly.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans to management.
