Key Responsibilities:
  • Build innovative AI-enabled products that harness the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other recent advancements in foundation models. You'll evaluate and integrate emerging techniques into our production systems.
  • Design high-performance Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including data indexing, ranking, and query processing.
  • Evaluate frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance. We're adopting a polyglot approach to working with LLMs, with a strong preference for open-source models.
Qualifications:
  • Two to five years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science, with proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • A strong background in distributed data systems or machine learning engineering, with experience in frameworks like Ray being a plus.
  • The ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code, leveraging languages like Python, and technologies such as LlamaIndex, LangChain, Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, constructing RAG systems, and planet-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases.
