**Job Overview**We are seeking an expert in designing and implementing efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows using SQL and ETL/ELT design principles to build and maintain our modern data platform.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow.
  • Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark for improved performance.
  • Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake) to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
  • Architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies to support efficient data querying and analysis.
  • Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design principles.
  • Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark to develop and optimize data pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, including Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies.
  • Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for improved performance.
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools to support scalable data storage solutions.
  • Solid experience in data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Bonus Skills
  • Able to work independently and collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment to drive project success.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Ansible to streamline development and deployment processes.
