Job Summary

The placement officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the entire placement process for students or candidates. This includes liaising with industry partners, organizing placement drives, and ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate campus recruitment activities, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and post-placement follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, recruiters, and HR professionals.
  • Identify new companies and sectors for potential placement opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing placement-related reports, statistics, and documentation.
  • Maintain student placement records and update databases regularly.
  • Provide career counselling and resume-building support to students/candidates.
  • Organize skill enhancement workshops, mock interviews, and training sessions.
  • Work closely with academic and administrative departments to align placement activities with institutional goals.
  • Handle placement-related queries from students and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure smooth execution of placement drives and recruitment events on and off campus.

 

Key Requirements:
  • Post-Graduation and Master's degree preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in placement, recruitment, career services, or HR.
  • Preferred Attributes: Experience working in an educational institution or training organization; familiarity with the job market and industry hiring trends; positive attitude, proactive approach, and team spirit.
