Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Site Reliability Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unix Shell Scripting, CI/CD pipeline management, and experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Resolution: Review and resolve incidents arising from Operation Command Center Alerts, Enterprise Monitoring Operations, OMNIBUS, and Splunk Alerts.
  • Change Implementation: Deploy high-impact changes, automate repetitive tasks through XLR or similar tools, and manage application deployment pipelines.
  • Work Orders: Resolve work orders from regional product teams and customer support teams.
  • Problem Management: Identify problem tickets, build cases with developers, and optimize alerts.
  • Monitoring: Identify critical parameters, modify existing dashboards, and optimize alerts.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for identifying automation and service improvement opportunities and will be able to achieve this through Python, shell scripting, or process-wise proposals. Experience in pulling, modifying, and updating data in databases such as Postgres, SQL, and Oracle is essential.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in building pipelines from scratch.
  • Experience in building monitoring dashboards from scratch.
  • Experience with Java Environment, JVMs.
  • Prior experience of automation used cases.
  • Experience with microservices and containerization.
  • Experience in cloud administration.

This role offers flexibility in terms of location, with options available in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, or Coimbatore.
