Job Title:

This role requires a senior data professional with expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions using machine learning and statistical models to address complex business challenges.
  • Conduct rigorous research and experimentation to improve data science methodologies and extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business) to integrate models into production systems and drive business outcomes.
  • Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and publish internal reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest research trends in AI/ML, deep learning, NLP, and data analytics.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and provide thought leadership within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Advanced experience in applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques to real-world problems.
  • Expert programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
  • Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
  • Experience with research publication or contribution to open-source projects is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Strong domain expertise in Healthcare, Finance, Retail, etc.
  • Track record of academic publications or patents in AI/ML/Data Science.
