About Us

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer proficient in Node.js and/or Python to join our team. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable backend services and APIs that power our web and mobile applications.

This role involves working closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and/or Python.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Manage database schema design, queries, and data migrations (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with backend development trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Node.js and/or Python backend frameworks (Express, FastAPI, Django, Flask).
  • Good understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • BASIC knowledge of containerization (Docker) is a plus.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
