Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer Intern to join our tech team. You will work closely with senior developers to build, optimize, and maintain backend services for our platform. This is a great opportunity to work on real-world, scalable applications and learn industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining backend APIs and services.
- Work with databases (MongoDB/MySQL) for data modeling and query optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, image hosting, email services).
- Implement authentication, role-based access control, and data security measures.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Maintain proper documentation for backend processes and endpoints.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or SQL databases.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- Understanding of authentication methods like JWT or OAuth.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Bonus Points For:

- Experience with AWS, Docker, or cloud hosting services.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
