Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content that effectively communicates our hospital's mission, services, and values. This includes developing compelling content for various platforms, conducting research, and ensuring SEO optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop relevant and accurate content for the hospital website, social media, newsletters, blogs, and other marketing materials.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to create well-informed content about various medical conditions, treatments, and healthcare best practices.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure search-engine friendly content and optimal ranking in search results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with departments, medical professionals, and subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Content Calendar: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across different platforms.
  • Edit and Proofread: Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and accuracy.
  • Social Media Engagement: Assist in managing social media accounts by creating engaging posts and responding to comments and messages when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years experience as a content writer, preferably in the healthcare or medical field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and patient engagement.
  • Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex medical topics in an easily understandable manner.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
