Finance Controller Job Role

As a strategic finance professional, you will oversee the entire finance and accounts function of an organization. This includes managing funds, conducting audits, working capital management, banking, MIS, IT, income tax matters, GST, VAT/Service Tax, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing monthly financial reports and finalizing balance sheets, P&L statements, and other compliance documents.
  • Handling procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, capex management, salary and employee reimbursements.
  • Complete control over fixed assets.
  • Conducting financial statement variance analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring timely completion of internal and external audits with zero major non-compliance issues.
  • Preparing and finalizing income tax returns, monthly GST returns, and TDS reconciliations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Effective leadership and team player skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in accounting systems, preferably Business Central, and cost and inventory systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Candidates should have experience handling accounting operations across Pan India and must be well-versed in account receivable, account payable, fund management, internal and external audits, compliance, GST, and income tax act requirements.

Candidates with experience in QSR or Retail industry will be preferred.
