Job Title: Warehouse Product Handler

A Warehouse Product Handler's role involves selecting products from a storage area, packaging them, and preparing them for shipping or delivery. They may also be responsible for transporting the products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Selecting Products: Using customer orders, locate the items in the storage area and retrieve them. Verify that the quantity and color of the items match the order.
  • Packing Products: Wrap and cushion the items, and place them into boxes. Ensure the boxes are labeled with the order number, quantity, and product details.
  • Updating the Order System: Utilize software to indicate that the order has been fulfilled and is ready to be shipped.
  • Maintaining a Clean Work Area: Remove excess items and wrappers after packing to avoid mixing up products.
  • Managing Inventory: Keep the inventory catalog up-to-date by scanning products when collecting them.
  • Inspecting Products: Inspect the products for damage or defects before shipping.
  • Operating Equipment: Use forklifts, pallet wrappers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Adhere to safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
