Portfolio Researcher

We are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Researcher with expertise in portfolio optimization and deep knowledge of investment products.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing client portfolios, supporting portfolio managers with actionable insights, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk-return parameters.

  • Conduct thorough portfolio analysis to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.
  • Perform in-depth research and due diligence on various investment products to support informed investment decisions.
  • Monitor and track the performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to design tailored investment strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment research reports, presentations, and client notes.
  • Support in creating model portfolios and recommending rebalancing strategies based on market movements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, CFP, etc.) preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio optimization techniques and asset allocation models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds, and Portfolio Management Services structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and analytical tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data simply.
