The role of an Intune Engineer is pivotal in shaping the organization's core services infrastructure components. This key position involves engineering all aspects of these components, necessitating a high degree of technical expertise and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities include managing change control procedures with discipline, maintaining flexibility to work across multiple platforms, and collaborating with a global engineering team. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, able to present confidently to management.

The following essential skills are required for success in this position:
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid Azure AD join implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID integration.
  • Experience with certificate-based authentication and modern authentication methods.
  • Proficiency in configuring device compliance policies and conditional access.
  • Experience with Microsoft Authenticator deployment in hybrid environments.
  • Operational expertise in Microsoft Intune configuration and management.
  • Experience in using and developing automation and scripting (PowerShell) to drive efficiencies.

Desirable skills include knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) policies, experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), understanding of Zero Trust security principles, and experience with Tiered Admin Models in hybrid environments.
