Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Automation Specialist to join our team at Align Knowledge Centre Pvt. Ltd. as a Cortex SOAR Platform Engineer.

About the Role:
  • Cortex SOAR Implementation and Management:

Our ideal candidate will deploy, configure, and maintain the Cortex SOAR platform within our MSSP SOC environment to support client security operations. This involves integrating the SOAR platform with other security tools (SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms, firewalls) to enable automated incident response.

  • Playbook Development and Automation:

The successful candidate will develop and optimize automated playbooks and workflows to handle common security incidents (e.g., phishing, malware detection, alert triage, log analysis). They will work closely with SOC analysts to identify repetitive tasks and manual processes that can be automated using SOAR.

  • Security Tool Integration:

Our team is looking for someone who can collaborate with security engineering and DevOps teams to integrate a wide range of security tools into Cortex SOAR, including SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), EDR solutions, and threat intelligence platforms.

  • Incident Response Automation:

The ideal candidate will work closely with incident response teams to automate the investigation, triage, and remediation of security incidents. They will implement real-time automated responses (e.g., isolating compromised devices, disabling accounts) based on pre-defined incident types and severity levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage the Cortex SOAR platform within our MSSP SOC environment.
  • Develop and optimize automated playbooks and workflows to handle common security incidents.
  • Integrate security tools into Cortex SOAR, including SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Automate the investigation, triage, and remediation of security incidents.
