Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned data governance expert to drive strategic initiatives across our organization. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your analytical prowess and technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain robust data management frameworks.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop actionable recommendations, and monitor progress towards set objectives.
  • Your primary focus will be on ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout our systems and processes.
  • You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining data quality policies and procedures within data management tools.
  • Beyond technical implementation, you will play a crucial role in driving business change, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making, and promoting data literacy across the organization.

Requirements

  • You must possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting & Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management within the Banking & Financial services industry is required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools and technologies such as Informatica DEQ, EDC, AXON.
  • Ability to analyze complex data concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with business units to embed and adopt data standards, and facilitating data stewardship.
  • Prior experience as a data steward interacting with business stakeholders and working on BAU data processes is preferred.

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
