Key Role in Software Development

This is a position to revolutionize the software market by designing and implementing features and components.

The ideal candidate should have passion for Web APIs and interest in building future frameworks to support SOAP and REST offerings.

The successful candidate will:

  • Elegant and scalable feature design
  • Deliver high-quality features that keep application developers in mind
  • Collaborate with team members through white-boarding and recommendations
  • Mentor and share knowledge via reviews and technical discussions
  • Introduce new technologies, frameworks, and points of view

Required skills include 6+ years of object-oriented design and Java programming experience, 3+ years of standard development tools and processes, and 1+ year of using or implementing REST APIs.

Awareness of other Web Services technologies such as SOAP, XML/Schema, WSDL, XSLT, SAX, etc. is also beneficial.

We use Java/JUnit and XpressO (Workday proprietary).

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Web APIs and interested in building the future framework to support Workday's SOAP and REST offerings.

You should consider yourself an advocate on the subject of Web APIs and enjoy sharing knowledge with your peers and inspiring creativity within your team.

You also enjoy attending meetups, hackathons, and Dev Conferences.
