About the Role

As a Web Developer at HowdyChats, you'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the core web experience of our platform. You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver smooth, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions. If you're passionate about clean code, responsive design, and building applications that can impact millions, this is the role for you

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement features
  • Optimize performance and scalability for global users
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends
  • Ensure security and data protection measures in all web builds

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in web development (internships not counted)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Angular/Vue is a plus)
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks , Django, or similar)
  • Understanding of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub)
  • Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be based in Chennai or Tamil Nadu only
