Job Summary:

The Sales and Distribution Functional Consultant plays a vital role in leading ERP activities focused on sales and distribution during organizational transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement JDE processes for divestiture scenarios, including customer/supplier master segregation, order closure, and data handover.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and ensure compliance with business and legal requirements.

Sales & Distribution Expertise:

  1. Configure and support modules such as Sales Order Management (O2C), Purchase Order Processing (P2P), Inventory Management, Advanced Pricing and Preferences, and handle intercompany transactions, returns, and transfer orders.

Integration & Data Migration:

  1. Lead data migration efforts for customer/supplier records and transactional history.
  2. Ensure seamless integration with Finance modules and third-party systems.

Documentation & Testing:

  1. Prepare AS-IS/TO-BE process documents, functional specs, test scenarios, and training materials.
  2. Conduct CRP, UAT, and post-Go-Live support.

Compliance & Reporting:

  1. Implement SOX-compliant controls and audit readiness.
  2. Support EDI inbound/outbound processes for different interfaces.

This position demands deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and hands-on experience in project execution across multiple modules. To manage interfaces effectively, the consultant must be able to design and implement JDE processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, configure and support Sales & Distribution modules, lead data migration efforts, ensure seamless integration with Finance modules, and prepare comprehensive documentation.
