About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape real-time, industry-defining credit practices and fuel genuine business impact as a Credit Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Credit Evaluation: Assess financials, credit bureau data, cash flows, and sector-specific risks; recommend and revise credit limits dynamically.
  • Credit Framework Development & Governance: Create and operationalize credit frameworks and SOPs for unsecured agri-trader lending.
  • Risk-Growth Balance: Optimize exposure levels-drive portfolio expansion while containing NPAs, embedding early-warning systems and health monitoring.
  • Commercial Enablement: Advise sales & ops teams, promoting risk-aware decision-making.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor key performance indicators and oversee post-sanction follow-up.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant with 8-12 years of credit underwriting & policy experience, especially in unsecured SME lending.
  • Familiarity with agri-trader finance, ideally in North & West India.
  • Technical expertise in financial analysis, cash-flow modelling, scorecarding, and limit-setting.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce credit governance and frameworks.
  • Strategic thinker, able to align growth and asset quality goals.
