Digital Product Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical developer to work on a high-profile project with a leading banking client.
- Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services for clients and employees.
- Apply software engineering principles, including user need analysis, feature development, automated testing, and deployment.
- Evaluate solutions based on quality, security, reliability, and compliance using digital principles and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents, and remediate risks.
- Understand and represent client needs.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, participate in hiring processes, and contribute to the company's engineering culture.
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with core banking integration expertise.
- Strong interest in learning new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
- Effective communication skills, including presentation and technical writing.
- Proficiency in Java and relevant Java tech stack.
- Awareness of clean code principles and best practices.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and designing unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Familiarity with API-first design and modern architecture/design patterns.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and DevOps experience.
- Ability to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.
