Printed Circuit Board Design Expert

The PCB design expert plays a pivotal role in crafting and optimizing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to meet the needs of our clients.

This position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all design requirements are met.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics to create accurate designs.
  • Generate detailed fabrication drawings and Gerber files for PCBs.
  • Develop hardware design documents that cover analysis, notes, and guidelines.
  • Design and develop high-performance/bandwidth PCBs using industry-standard tools.
  • Perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation.
  • Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, ID, and mechanical integrity in PCB design.
  • Create and manage PCB documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files.
  • Coordinate and approve PCB layout, prepare BOM, and follow revision control procedures.
  • Bring up and test PCBs and auxiliary electronics, and develop PCB layout concepts for efficient manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Design, Electronics Engineering, Embedded System Engineering, ECE, or ETC.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience using two or more PCB designing tools, preferably KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools.
  • Familiarity with PCB failure modes and reliability in extreme environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials, as well as digital and analog circuit design fundamentals.
