Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NPI project leader to lead our new product introductions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless product launches.

In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and documents, transforming product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs, and creating assembly documentation. You will also coordinate development projects from prototype to mass production phases, manage data integrity, and support ISO audits.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering Drawing Management: Interpret and maintain engineering drawings and documents to ensure smooth translation into procurement and production requirements.
  • Manufacturing Input Creation: Transform product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners.
  • Assembly Documentation: Create and maintain assembly documentation, including SOPs and APBs.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams for Engineering Change Management (ECM), implement changes in production, and drive timely closure.
  • BOM Management: Prepare and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products and create part numbers for components.
  • End-of-Life Planning: Monitor End-of-Life (EOL) status of products and plan accordingly.
  • Obsolescence Management: Track and manage obsolescence of components and proactively alert the engineering team when required.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.

Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering
