This is a key role in managing statutory and tax compliances, audit coordination, and monthly financial closing.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all Indian statutory requirements. They will also coordinate the execution of statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing audits.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all Indian statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, and ROC filings.
- Coordinate and ensure timely execution of statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing audits.
- Accounting & Financials
- End-to-end ownership of accounting and book closure activities.
- Assist in preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment as per applicable standards.
- Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports.
- Support in monthly/quarterly financial reviews and presentations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial data to finance controller.
- Audit Management
- Handle all audit-related queries and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain proper audit trail and documentation.
- Ensure all audit requirements are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent; CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / M.Com preferred.
4–6 years of relevant experience in Indian finance and accounts function.
In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, ROC filings, audits, and Indian accounting standards.
Proficiency in finalization of accounts and monthly financial closure.
Strong Excel skills and experience in accounting systems like Tally, Oracle, or similar.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently.
