The Internal Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency, financial reliability, and compliance of our organization.
">Job DescriptionThe Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting independent and objective audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures. The role involves assessing the operational efficiency, financial reliability, and compliance with directives, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Audit Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of various areas of the company, including assessment of controls over operational efficiencies, financial reliability, and compliance with applicable directives, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment: Participate in the Enterprise wide Risk Assessment exercise to identify and assess risks that could impact the organization.
- Accounting Documentation: Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, process flowcharts, etc., to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Fraud Investigations: Assist in conducting fraud and other investigations as directed by the Head of Internal Audit.
- Timely Completion: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the audit plan.
- Reports and Presentations: Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document processes.
- Audit Committee Reports: Assist the Head of Internal Audit in preparing Audit Committee Reports and papers.
- Follow-up Audits: Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions.
- Process Improvements: Continuously look out for opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs through research and development of internal audit practices.
- Candidate Requirements: Looking for candidates with 2-3 years (Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager) and 5-6 years (Manager) of relevant internal audit experience and qualification(s) like CA/CPA.
- Manufacturing Industry Experience: Prior relevant experience in manufacturing industry is required.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge in SAP, MS Office, and other analytical tools is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication/presentation/persuasion skills are necessary.
