About the Role

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT infrastructure expert to oversee and maintain Linux, Windows, and VMware-based servers in our production and development environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in server administration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring maximum availability and performance of critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Administer and maintain Linux, Windows, and VMware servers in production and development environments
  • Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring integrity and availability of all server resources
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
  • Manage server patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
  • Ensure effective system security, backup, and disaster recovery plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server Administration
  • Expertise in VMware server virtualization
  • Knowledge of system automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar)
  • Experience in system performance tuning, patch management, and upgrades
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking
  • Familiarity with backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
