Insurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling and processing claims from initiation to closure.

The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in Non-Motor Claims, Property, Fire, Engineering, Miscellaneous, and Workmen Compensation. You will work closely with surveyors, investigators, and network teams to assess and resolve claims accurately and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and processing claims from initiation to closure
  • Identifying claim type, connecting with insured claimants, preparing requirement lists, and conducting video surveys to assess cause and extent of loss
  • Coordinating with surveyors, investigators, and network teams for accurate assessment and timely resolution
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with policy wordings, terms, and conditions
  • Drafting claim notes, settlement recommendations, and repudiation letters while managing escalations and detecting fraudulent claims

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of policy wordings and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and claims management tools
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
