Job Title: Insurance Claims Recovery ExpertJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Insurance Claims Recovery Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and quantifying physical and economic losses from insurable events, such as natural or man-made disasters. This includes preparing insurance claims, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with US-based counterparts to resolve complex claim issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the preparation of insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Analyze financial data to quantify damages and prepare detailed schedules to present findings and methodologies to clients.
  • Collaborate with US-based counterparts to resolve complex claim issues, including reviewing and interpreting insurance policies and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, both in India and the US, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with firm quality standards and protocols, monitoring project economics and client billing.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a relevant field, required.
  • Eight or more years of experience in accounting and/or finance roles, required.
  • Minimum of five years prior experience in preparing or evaluating business interruption insurance claims or commercial financial damages claims, required.
  • Accounting/finance designation (e.g., CPA, CFF, CFA or equivalent), preferred.
