We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to play a key role in shaping the growth of our digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of designing and delivering high-quality digital products and have a keen interest in the application of technology in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, reusable code following best practices while helping to define coding standards and team conventions.
  • Promote developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.
  • Foster a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Lead and influence the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.
  • Establish software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in software engineering.
  • High-level proficiency and understanding in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with experience in Node.js desirable.
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment using tools such as Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • An appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
  • Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via various methods.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.
  • A strong desire to build performant applications.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain solutions and collaborate effectively with others.
