Editorial Role

We are seeking a talented editor with a passion for sports and storytelling to join our editorial team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and publishing high-quality articles that resonate with readers. They will work closely with a skilled team of writers, editors, and content managers in our fast-paced newsroom to constantly refine and elevate the content we publish.

  • This role involves working closely with a team of talented writers to edit and publish engaging sports content.
  • You will need to stay on top of breaking news to ensure our readers are always up-to-date as events unfold.

As a mentor, you will inspire and empower writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Media/ Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or any other similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language and an understanding of American culture.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, including crafting engaging headings and subheadings.
  • Leadership skills to inspire, guide, and mentor a team of talented writers.
