Job Title: Plant and Machinery Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Plant and Machinery Operations Manager. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant & machinery departments, particularly high-rise towers. They should be proficient in erection, dismantling, maintenance, and operation of Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.

The successful candidate will also have experience in developing methodologies for equipment erection, operation, and checklist preparation. Additionally, they should be skilled in controlling spare parts inventory and cost optimization, sourcing plant & machinery operators and mechanics.

This role involves generating local MIS reports for the Mechanical Head at HO/Project In-charge. The candidate should also maintain site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and equipment upkeep at zonal sites.

Responsibilities include creating budget estimates for monthly spares and running expenses for each machine and monitoring them regularly. The candidate should also train personnel on safe equipment usage to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with repair/servicing protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
