Head of Financial Control

">Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial operations and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily finance activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, as well as ensuring tax compliance and regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance controllership and compliance, with at least 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

Key responsibilities include leading long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation, and driving initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and ROI.

The Head of Financial Control will also oversee the implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systems, manage statutory, internal, and tax audits, and strengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance.

A solid understanding of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, tax laws, and audit practices is essential, as well as hands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance tools.
