Expert Oracle EPCM Technical Consultant

Job Overview

This role is centered on delivering expert-level technical solutions for Oracle EPCM projects. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle EPM applications, PCMCS/EPCM implementation experience, and exceptional knowledge of ITIL concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and configure Oracle EPCM modules, leveraging in-depth knowledge of configuration, data management, and reporting.\
• Configure and customize EPCM modules, including defining cost drivers, allocation rules, and reporting structures.\
• Provide technical expertise in Oracle EPCM, including its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud modules.\
• Manage data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM and integrate it with other systems.\
• Ensure the EPCM solution aligns with the organization's business processes and objectives, particularly in areas like cost allocation, profitability analysis, and profitability reporting.\
• Implement Oracle PCM/EPCM projects from designing allocation rules to building custom (MDX) rules and allocation rules and rulesets.\
• Work on direct integration to ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management.\
• Have good understanding of audit trail and balancing reports for allocations.\
• Implemented projects with Oracle PCM and developed artifacts, starting from metadata creation/updates, setting up rules, designing web forms and data grids, creating reports and dashboards.\
• Understand financial statements, close cycle, and related best practices.\
• Experience creating consolidated financial statements for customers.\
• Responsible for understanding project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk, and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams to ensure our teams deliver on the required activities and tasks.\
• Employ independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of business solutions, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget and customer satisfaction.\
• Qualifications: MBA Finance /Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT-related subject. Finance background also applicable.\
• Required Skills:\

  • 10+ years EPM/PCM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and Support of applications in various domains and products related to EPM and PCM.\
  • Experience in PCM with strong Application Development process experience on Hyperion EPM Product Suite.\
  • Strong experience in PBCS Business rules - Design, Development and performance tuning.\
  • Experience in metadata integration with EDMCS and custom files for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.\
  • Experience in designing and coding batch processes using epmautomate tool for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.\
  • Experience in Requirement Gathering & Solution Design - PCM.\
  • Hands-on experience in configuration of rules and rulesets in PCM.\
  • Hands-on experience of administrative activities related to PCM.\
  • Data management skills to create data load rules, mappings, and loading of data.\
  • Desired functional knowledge (Understanding of Chart of Accounts and allocations process).\
  • Ability to work independently to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.\
  • Strong skills across MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office, and other collaboration and unified communication tools.\
  • Open to adopt new technologies.\
  • Excellent experience in Oracle EPM applications. Good to have prior Finance modules experience.\
  • Good knowledge of ITIL concepts (Incident / Problem / Change / Availability Management).\
  • Flexible to work for long hours overlapping with the EST, CST, and PST working hours.\
