Senior .Net Developer Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET 5/.NET Framework, REST APIs, multithreading, NoSQL databases, and SQL. A strong understanding of building REST APIs with Web API, as well as hands-on experience with multithreading and parallelization, is also necessary.

You will be responsible for working with the engineering team to design and build new features using SCRUM/Agile and sprints, improving and maintaining current code to keep it fast and scalable, and finding and fixing technical problems with creative solutions.

Additional responsibilities include taking responsibility for important development tasks in a continuous integration and deployment setup, using cloud services, containers, and virtual machines for infrastructure, reviewing code and helping improve engineering processes, and keeping up with the latest .NET technologies and adding them to our systems when useful, following Agile practices.

  • Proficient in .NET 8/.NET Framework
  • Strong understanding of building REST APIs with Web API
  • Hands-on experience with multithreading and parallelization
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably MS SQL)
  • Experience with designing high-performance and scalable services
  • Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS a plus)
  • Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and component tests
  • Good understanding of HTTP, caching mechanisms, and service discovery
  • Familiarity with modern communication technologies like gRPC and Apache Kafka
  • Problem-solving mindset for tackling complex technical challenges
  • Knowledge of in-memory key-value databases like Redis
  • Proficiency in Git and scripting with PowerShell/Bash
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions & Workflows)
  • Familiarity with continuous deployment processes (e.g., Flux)
  • Familiarity with Windows/Visual Studio
  • Experience into Async programming, Data structure, Algorithms
  • Previous experience with streaming protocols (e.g., DASH/HLS), video encoding (e.g., AWS Elemental Media Services) or video processing libraries (e.g., ffmpeg) is a plus
